		<description>For what it&#039;s worth, I don&#039;t think you&#039;re being nitpicky in distinguishing the original from modified folder -- the change is quite obvious and disturbing.  I&#039;d guess it&#039;s the color profile changing, but perhaps the photo itself was modified??  Not good.

Thanks for that! I had no idea that the Mac program Image Capture even existed - so very easy!  

For anyone who might read this entry - be sure to go into the &quot;options&quot; button after opening the program before downloading. There is a &quot;delete items from camera after downloading&quot; button that you might want to uncheck (or check) plus other items like colorSync profile embedding.

Image Capture is actually a handy little program. :)</description>
