About
Hi! I’m Christina Aris. I’m a graphic designer and photographer. I live in “America’s Finest City” - San Diego, CA (specifically in Solana Beach). You can find my business at www.arisdesign.com.
I’m not the blogger type, or at least I never thought of myself as the type. I always had the impression that there were already too many people out there talking about things that only mattered to them and what could I possibly add? Besides - do I really want people to know that much about me?
So then, why do I have a blog?
- To test new internet technologies (like posting to the web via my iPhone, playing with tech gadgets such as the Nike+ and testing SEO, etc.).
- To use as a repository for all the cool stuff I see on the web that I don’t want to have to bookmark, and hey, there might be someone searching for something that I’ve found useful enough to post….I like to share. :)
- I have friends and family all over the place, so I’ll probably post stuff that they wouldn’t normally get to see going on around San Diego and in my life.
- I became very interested in the web as a social networking tool (isn’t everybody these days?!?) after attending the Web 2.0 EXPO in San Francisco in April 2007. (This is where I first signed up for a twitter account and the moniker sdTechGirl was born.) Since then I’ve been fairly open and active on the web and well, honestly - if you want to find out something about me - it’s not that difficult anymore - so I might as well have my own venue for self expression.
So if you’ve found my little blog, try not to be too judgmental, this is just my playground.
If you want to contact me: sdtg (at) sdtechgirl (dot) com
(if you’re one of my non-techie friends and you don’t know what this means just replace the (at) with @ and the (dot) with, ummm a dot or a period….you know one of these .)
You can also follow me on twitter - I’m sdtechgirl there too.
