This is how I got my twitter feed into my WordPress sidebar:
Drag a new ‘text’ widget to your side bar (under the “presentation” menu item) – grab the code from Twitter, put it into the WordPress text widget and you’re done!

Twitter currently gives you three versions to choose from – one with just your tweets (little box created in flash – only your most recent tweet), one with you and your friends (flash based, multiple posts in a scrolling window) and another that is HTML/Javascript where you can choose to list 1 – 20 of your most recent tweets – this one is also customizable using CSS.

If you would like to have your tweets sent to your blog – I think it sends them at the end of the day – as one blog post, try Loudtwitter.

And yet another cool little Twitter Tool that will let you have it both ways – twitter to blog or blog to twitter – I think I’m getting dizzy.
